Hello. This is a small website by myself, Brian Dickinson, for which I have yet to come up with a definitive purpose. I have already got a website dedicated to my Family history, which you can see at myfamilies.co.uk So I think I will use this website to share in my joy of Lego.
27 Dec 2005: I have added a few more models on to this site, and am in the process of adding some more pictures on at this moment -20:29.
22 Feb 2005: Coming soon, pictures of the second model of Box 8438, which is a lorry with a folding lifting arm. I was very impressed with the range of movement that the arm had, that I decided to modify it a bit, and currently the modification is bulkier than the original cabin would allow, so there is no cabin on the truck just yet. I hope to have rectified this before too long so I can get some pictures of it up here. I did not take any photo's of the proper version, so you will have to make do with my altered version. Hopefully it will be on within a week or so.
27 Nov 2005: I never did get the cabin rebuilt, and the lifting arm, though I modified it quite a bit and it worked perfectly well, was just a bit too big for the chassis which this model is built upon. In the end it got dismantled,. I do intend to rebuild it soon, perhaps before Christmas, and then I might make som minor modifications to it which I know will fit on ok.
24 Oct 2004 I have taken a few photos of some models built recently, which are under the JCB section.
I have always enjoyed Lego, and have built some interesting models in the past, but I do not have any pictures of them, so perhaps what I will do is build all my old sets up, take pictures, and then maybe try to remember the modifications I used to make, and do the same with them. We shall see.
This may take a while, as I have a family to look after, and I do not get much free time, so please be patient. If you want to email me, then you can do so via the following email address: lego@myfamilies.co.uk
